Cruising Association Online Shop

We aim to ensure your order reaches you as quickly and efficiently as possible. This policy explains how we process and dispatch different types of products.

General Delivery Information

  • Delivery charges include both packaging and postage costs.
  • Unless otherwise specified, orders are sent via Royal Mail.
  • Dispatch times:
    • Orders received before 3pm Monday–Friday are normally dispatched the same day.
    • Orders received after 3pm Monday–Thursday are normally dispatched the next working day.
    • Orders received after 3pm on Friday are dispatched the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday).

Specific Products

Burgees, Membership Flags & Defaced Ensigns

  • Burgees and membership flags are dispatched as per the general delivery terms above.
  • Defaced ensigns can only be dispatched once an appropriate permit has been obtained or verified.

CA Almanacs

  • UK Orders: Dispatched directly from our publishing partner, Imray, usually the next working day (subject to cut-off times). Customers will typically receive tracking details by email once Imray has dispatched the order.
  • Non-UK Orders: Sent via Royal Mail with customs documentation. We use transparent wrapping to help reduce customs delays, but any such delays are outside our control. If you experience a delay, please contact office@theca.org.uk

Baltic Cruising Guides (Printed)

  • Baltic Cruising Guides are printed and ring-bound at CA House.
  • Guides are dispatched according to the general delivery terms above.

European Inland Waterways Guides (Printed)

  • European Inland Waterways Guides are supplied through Lulu print-on-demand.
  • Typically, the guides are printed and dispatched within 3–5 business days.

Clothing

  • We do not hold stock of CA-branded clothing at CA House
  • Orders are placed with our supplier upon receipt (during office hours).
  • Items are then dispatched via Royal Mail once received at CA House.
  • Delivery timeframe: approximately 2–2½ weeks from order date.

Branded Merchandise

  • Dispatched according to the general delivery terms above.

International Deliveries

  • For orders shipped outside the UK, customs delays and import duties may apply. These are the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Delivery times can vary depending on the destination and local postal services.
