Guide to the Canal Lateral a la Loire (Digital PDF version)

This guide covers the Canal Latéral à la Loire, which runs for 196 kms from the ancient port of Briare along the val-ley of the Loire down to the port of Digoin, where it connects with the Canal du Centre. At Decize it also connects with the Canal du Nivernais and just north of Digoin with the Canal de Roanne à Digoin.

Details are provided on all the marinas, haltes and other mooring points (even picnic stops) along the waterway, together with information on facilities, shopping and nearby attractions. Each mooring point is illustrated by a colour photo, meaning that the guide is the only detailed pictorial reference available for cruising on this waterway.
